Deadpool & Wolverine, directed by Shawn Levy, gets a new trailer and TV promo ten days before it opens.
One of the opening images in the teaser has the enigmatic Lady Deadpool wearing red boots and extending past her signature belt to reveal the ends of her blonde hair without revealing her face, all set to the music of Toni Basil’s “Hey Mickey.”
Several people speculated that actress Blake Lively, wife of Ryan Reynolds, would be playing the new character after the first glimpse of the figure’s feet surfaced in another teaser. Some believe Taylor Swift, who a lot of people want to play Dazzler in the movie.
In the scene, there are also brief glimpses of Cowboy Deadpool, and Wade invites a dog with big eyes into his alliance with Wolverine.
The threequel movie, which is set six years after Deadpool 2 (2018), credits Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells, Reynolds, and Levy as co-writers.
Screenshots of the video show Emma Corrin, Matthew McFadyan, and other people. Levy hasn’t revealed any identities, but he has hinted at a number of characters and cameos in the upcoming movie.
Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige hinted at the film’s emotional aspects beyond its R rating in an interview with Deadline.
“I believe that viewers may discern from the teaser and the current press tour that although the movie is intensely sentimental, it is rated R and contains profanity and graphic content. He declared, “It’s the most wholesome R-rated movie anyone has ever seen.” It truly is a celebration of family, friendship, and newly discovered family. I don’t want to go overboard, but despite all the attention-grabbing R-rated raunchiness, people will be talking about how sincere the film is—much more than the first two Deadpool flicks, in my opinion.
On July 26, the third film in the Deadpool franchise will be released in theatres.
